John Weaver
Senior Pastor

John D. Weaver was born in Polson, Mt. and spent most of his growing up years in Bozeman (for all you Bobcat fans). He attended Northwest College where he received a BA degree in Pastoral Ministries. He married Joanna Gustafson from Missoula (for all you Griz fans) in 1981. Pastor John received his ordinatioon in 1984. They served as youth pastors in both Libby and Sidney, Montana until 1987. From there they moved to Grants Pass, OR. and served as Music and Christian Education Pastors until 1992. In April, they moved to Whitefish, MT. and served as Senior Pastors for 15 years. After a sabbatical Pastor and Joanna served as interim pastors in Ennis, MT. for 8 months, then moved directly to Hamilton and came on staff as head pastors in June of 2009.

John and Joanna both feel that the kingdom of God is built upon relationships. First and foremost is our relationship with God. The Weavers try to both teach and exemplify a whole-hearted relationship with the Father. Secondly is our relationships with others. God didn't put us here to walk alone. He walks with us, but He has also given us each other. We need each other today more than ever. The Weavers would love the opportunity to get to know everyone who crosses their paths.

Joanna has authored several books and travels some throughout the year as a conference speaker. She has a desire to encourage women into a deeper walk with God. You can find information about her books at a local Christian book store or on the internet.
